“Saudi Arabia Origin of Terrorist Moves across World”

Iranian intelligence minister, Mahmoud Alavi, says he is certain that Saudi Arabia is supporting terrorism all around the world.

“We see their traces [Saudis’] in Syria and Iraq. It’s widely believed that Saudi Arabia is the origin of terrorist moves across the globe, and terrorists take their ideology from the kingdom”, Alavi added.

The Iranian minister made the remarks while visiting Tehran terrorist attacks victims in a hospital in Tehran.

He went on to say that it is too early to say whether or not Saudi Arabia was involved in Tehran’s terrorist attacks. “Having completed our investigation, we will share useful findings with people,” he said.

He further pointed to his ministry’s performance in the Wednesday’s terrorist attacks in Tehran, and said the explosion of just one bomb grabs headlines, while defusing one hundred bombs goes unnoticed.

“During the past days and months, we experienced a huge pressure exerted by terrorist groups. We identified and arrested one, two or three-member terrorist groups every week. Our forces are going ahead with their operations. We hope to identify the roots of terrorism in our country,” he noted.

He also called on people to report any suspicious acts to the intelligence ministry by calling 113.
