Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday held a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi. The two leaders discussed issues of bilateral relations in various fields, including the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, according to the Kremlin.

Both sides gave a positive assessment of the level and dynamics of the development of Russian-Iranian relations. Issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields, including the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, were discussed,” the statement added.
The leaders agreed to maintain further contacts.
