IFP has taken a look at the front pages of Iranian newspapers on Thursday, January 18, and picked headlines from 12 of them. IFP has simply translated the headlines and does not vouch for their accuracy.
Several papers today covered the remarks made by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani about the need for understanding the cyberspace and promote online business.
They also covered top Shiite clerics’ reactions to Rouhani’s controversial comments about the infallibles’ tolerance for criticism. Rouhani had noted that even Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Mahdi (AS) would allow people to criticize them; however, the remarks have been a subject of controversy during the past few days.
