Iranian armed forces have eliminated a terrorist cell in the southeastern city of Saravan in Sistan and Balouchestan Province.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said the group was attempting to carry out sabotage and terrorist operations when it was destroyed.
The IRGC said four members of the terrorist group were killed and a large amount of weapons and equipment were seized during the clash.
Saravan is located 347 kilometers southeast of Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan Province which borders neighboring Pakistan.
