Iran’s FM Wishes Happy Christmas and Peaceful New Year

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a message wished a happy Christmas for Christian people in the world and a peaceful 2017.

In a post on his Twitter account, Zarif wished “a very Happy Christmas and peaceful 2017 to all.

“May the miracle birth of Jesus Christ bring peace to our troubled world,” he added.

He also cited the verses 20 to 30 of ‘Mary’ Surah of Holy Quran, in which Jesus Christ, a baby at that time, miraculously opens his mouth and talks to other people.
