Iran exported about $18.8 billion worth of industrial products in the seven months to Oct. 22, 2017, registering a 3.3% increase compared with the previous year’s corresponding period.
According to a report published by Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, citing the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade’s data, chemical products had the largest share of total exports with $6.12 billion and exports of communications devices saw the highest year-on-year growth of around 200%.
Iran exported 72.24 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $24.65 billion during the period to register a 4.34% rise YOY, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration announced.
