A majority of Iranians want to have constructive relations between Iran and the international community, Chairman of the Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said on Sunday May 5.
He made the remarks in a meeting with a group of exporters and merchants.
The majority of people want constructive engagement with the world, based on mutual respect and while keeping their dignity, Ayatollah Rafsanjani stated.
The official said that the Iranian people had turned out in several elections to show their desire for improving Iran’s relations with the international community.
