Iranian internet television hacked while airing Islamic Revolution anniversary’s rallies

An anti-Iran cyber group has hacked the internet channel of the Iranian television known as Telewebion while it was showing mass rallies marking the 44th anniversary of the Islamic revolution’s victory.

The images of Telewebion were frozen for 19 seconds on Saturday and counterrevolutionary slogans were heard.

The IRIB and the internet television channels of Iran have been hacked several times over the past months.

The cyber attacks happened during the recent unrest and deadly riots over the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in police custody.
