Iranian athletes clinch gold, silver medals in Ice Climbing World Champion

Iranian ice climber Mohammad Reza Safdarian won the gold medal in 2024 Ice Climbing World Championship in Edmonton, Canada on Saturday.

The silver medal of the event went to Mohsen Beheshtirad, another Iranian athlete.

Safdarian won the first Gold medal in Iran’s ice climbing history in 2018 in Italy.

Thr 2024 Ice Climbing World Championship kicked off on February 16 and will run till Monday, February 19.
