Iranian actor Hassan Raziani succumbs to lung infection at the age of 83.
Hassan Raziani, an Iranian actor widely known as Einollah Bagherzadeh after his character who was a romantic rival of Samad in a series of comedies produced before the Islamic Revolution, has passed away at the age of 83. Banifilm, a Tehran-based newspaper that mostly focuses on big-screen news, reported on August 30 that Raziani died after a two-month battle with lung infection in a hospital in Tehran.
