The Iranian president has expressed hope that Iran-Ghana relations will further expand on all fronts.
In a Wednesday meeting with the new Ghanaian envoy to Tehran, President Hassan Rouhani described Tehran-Accra ties as cordial and friendly, expressing hope mutual relations will be enhanced in the new chapter of bilateral ties.
In turn, Ghana’s new ambassador to Tehran Eric Owusu-Boateng presented his credentials to the Iranian president, hailing the longstanding and friendly relations between the two countries.
“Political ties between Iran and Ghana are very warm and friendly, and we should strive to expand our economic relations as much as our friendly political ties,” he added.
