IFP has taken a look at the front pages of Iranian newspapers on Tuesday, October 24, and picked headlines from 11 of them. IFP has simply translated the headlines and does not vouch for their accuracy.
Several newspapers today highlighted President Hassan Rouhani’s address to a ceremony held in Tehran to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s son. In his address, Rouhani underlined the need for unity and refraining from undermining people’s hope. Newspapers also covered his remarks about Iran’s defensive power, which is not at all negotiable.
A decrease in the value of Iran’s rial to the US dollar and the Iranian officials’ remarks about their efforts to support the national currency also received great coverage in economic newspapers.
