A Look at Iranian Newspaper Front Pages on May 7

IFP has taken a look at the front pages of Iranian newspapers on Sunday and picked headlines from 14 of them. IFP has simply translated the headlines and does not vouch for their accuracy.

A top story today was the remarks made by Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani in support of the nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers.

Moderate and reformist papers also referred to Rouhani’s campaign documentary aired on Saturday, criticizing the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) for censoring parts of the video.

Several Iranian newspapers also covered the continued reactions to the second live presidential debate held on Friday.
