Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is set to visit the Russian and Belgian capitals on Wednesday and Thursday.
According to Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi, Zarif will travel to Moscow on Wednesday as part of regular negotiations between Iranian and Russian foreign ministers on bilateral and regional issues, particularly the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the nuclear deal signed between Iran and world powers.
Qassemi said the Iranian foreign minister will also visit Brussels on Thursday at the official invitation of EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini.
In Brussels, Qassemi added, the foreign minister will exchange views with his German, French and British counterparts on the latest developments of the JCPOA .
