Huge rallies took place in 10 cities across Iran to pay tribute the 8th Shia Imam Ali Ibn Moussa al-Reza, whose shrine is in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad.
In Tehran, families gathered on Karim Khan Street in downtown the capital.
More than 400 stations provided the people participating in the rally with cultural services and entertainment.
Those who serve people in the stations are Tehrani benefactors.
The rally was organized by the Tehran municipality and ahead of the birthday anniversary of Imam Reza.
