The largest street wall painting of Iran is situated in Tehran’s Valiasr [a title for Imam Mahdi, the twelfth Shiite Imam] Square. On different occasions, new paintings replace the old ones.
The huge painting, this time, portrays a picture of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei standing by different strata of Iranian people, all of them said to be waiting for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (PBUH).
“People in this territory are all waiting for one person,” it is written on the corner of the painting.
