As Tehran earlier vowed to reciprocate the visa ban introduced by US President on Iranian citizens, the country’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday that a special committee will review the presence of the US wrestling team in Kermanshah Wrestling World Cup.
Following media speculations about the presence of the US wrestling team in Iran Wrestling World Cup due to be held in mid-February in Western city of Kermanshah, the Foreign Ministry has tasked a committee set up in cooperation with relevant institutes at the Ministry to make necessary decisions in this regard.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that it will safeguard the Iranian nationals’ rights and defend interests of Iranian people in such cases.
