Johan Ruijsink, the former Team Europe Mosconi Cup captain, will soon travel to Iran to prepare the national team for the Asian championship.
The 50-year-old Dutch coach is going to prepare the Iranian team during a training camp due to be held from August 18 to 23 in Tehran’s Enghelab Sports Complex.
The camp will be held ahead of the Asian championship which will be held in Turkmenistan’s capital of Ashgabat from September 17 to 27, according to a Farsi report by Mizan.
The world renowned coach has participated in many world tour and European championships.
Ruijsink was captain of Team Europe Mosconi Cup for many years and retired from the position undefeated through seven editions.
He was the Netherlands’ coach from 2003 to 2010.
