Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, in a meeting with Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in Belgrade, has stressed that his country has no limitations in expanding relations with the Islamic Republic.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed the development and boosting of bilateral relations in all political, economic and cultural spheres.
“As the President of Serbia, I state that we are ready to cooperate with Iran and expand mutual ties in all fields as we have no limitations in this regard,” Vučić noted.
The two countries’ cooperation at the international bodies and associations, regional issues, and emphasis on dialogue and diplomatic solutions to settle disputes in different parts of the world were among the other issues discussed.
Zarif arrived in the Serbian capital on Tuesday at the beginning of his tour of Eastern Europe and the Balkans, which will later take him to Bulgaria, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
