‘Bagshy’ Turkmen Musicians

Baghshy are traditional musicians in the north-east of Iran who have helped classical Turkmen music to survive to this day. Their mystical music, stemming from Turkmen history and culture, uses the dutar (meaning ‘two-stringed’) as its main instrument.
