An informed source says Abdolmajid Moradzehi, an aide and a relative to prayer leader of Makki Mosque in the southeastern Iranian city of Zahedan Molavi Abdolhamid Esmaeilzehi, has been arrested, IRNA reported.
The source told IRNA that Moradzehi was detained by security forces based on an arrest warrant by the judiciary.
The source said he faces charges of disturbing public opinion, repeated contact with foreign individuals and media and distorting facts about the developments in Iran.
The source added that Moradzehi had ignored several summons by the judiciary before his arrest.
