IFP has taken a look at the front pages of Iranian newspapers on Wednesday, May 16, and picked headlines from 18 of them. IFP has simply translated the headlines and does not vouch for their accuracy.

Several papers today covered the outcome of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif’s talks with the E3 top diplomats as well as the European Union’s foreign policy chief in Brussels over the fate of the Iran nuclear deal.

The new US sanctions on Iran, including a ban on the governor of Iran’s central bank Valiollah Seif, was also among the top stories.
