IFP has taken a look at the front pages of Iranian newspapers on Monday, June 25, 2018, and picked headlines from 22 of them. IFP has simply translated the headlines and does not vouch for their accuracy.
Newspapers today widely covered the remarks made by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif about the enemies’ plot to destroy Iran. He says the country itself is the target, not the Establishment or the Rouhani administration.
Also a top story was the ongoing economic crisis in the country, particularly the unrest in the mobile phone market and the Parliament’s session behind closed doors to address the issue.
The Iranian national football team’s Monday match against Portugal also received great coverage. The Team Melli has the chance to advance to the next stage of FIFA World Cup for the first time in history by defeating the Portuguese.
