A Look at Iranian Newspaper Front Pages on June 11

IFP has taken a look at the front pages of Iranian newspapers on Monday, June 11, and picked headlines from 20 of them. IFP has simply translated the headlines and does not vouch for their accuracy.

Newspapers today widely covered the remarks made by the Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in a meeting with a group of university professors and scientists.

Also a top story was the controversial photo of the G7 summit, in which US President Donald Trump seems to be isolated in a meeting with other world leaders, particularly German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Several papers also highlighted the latest summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), in which all member states expressed their full support for the Iran nuclear deal.

The Iranian Parliament’s refusal to approve the country’s accession to FATF was also a top story and received great coverage today.
