A Look at Iranian Newspaper Front Pages on December 4

IFP has taken a look at the front pages of Iranian newspapers on Sunday and picked headlines from 22 of them. IFP has simply translated the headlines and does not vouch for their accuracy.

All newspapers today continued covering the reactions to the US Senate’s 10-year extension of anti-Iran sanctions. Among the widely-covered remarks were those of President Hassan Rouhani who said the US should not be allowed to undermine the nuclear deal.

Another top story today was the upholding of death sentence of Iranian corrupt billionaire Babak Zanjani, who was helping Ahmadinejad’s government sell the country’s oil in the time of sanctions, but later failed to give back the petrodollars to the government.
