A tragic incident has unfolded in Alborz Province, near Tehran, as a Piper 28 training plane departed from Azadi Airport in Nazarabaad city on Tuesday evening, only to lose contact with the control tower after two hours. Two on board were killed.
The aircraft, belonging to the Parsis Pilot Training Center, carried both a teacher pilot, identified as Omid Hashemian, and a student.
Regrettably, the crash resulted in the loss of both lives.
