Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Akhundi arrived in Ashgabat on Monday heading a high ranking politico-economic delegation.
Upon his arrival, Akhundi held talks with President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
President Berdimuhamedov said that the two countries have brotherly and friendly relations and the two nations have plenty of common ground helping the development of economic cooperation.
He underlined the continuing expansion of relations between the two countries.
Akhundi serves as Iranian co-chairman of Joint Economic Commission with Turkmenistan.
