One killed, one injured in ship collision in southern Iran

The collision of two ships near Khamir Port in southern Iran has killed a young man and injured another.

One person was killed and one another was injured on late Tuesday when a fishing vessel collided with a naval vessel near the port of Khamir in Hormozgan Province, the governor of Bandar Khamir said.

The darkness of the area caused the unfortunate collision of the fishing vessel with the naval vessel in the southern waters, he added.
