Iran’s Leader condoles with top general on loss of child

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has commiserated with Brigadier General Ahmadreza Pourdastan, a high-ranking Iranian army commander, on the demise of his child.

“I’d like to express condolences to you and other family members on the passing of your beloved child, and I ask God Almighty to bless his soul,” said Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in a message.

General Pourdastan is the director of the Iranian Army’s Center for Strategic Studies. His son, Amin Pourdastan, died of heart failure on Sunday.
