Iran’s envoy to Intl. Maritime Organization dies in London

The Iranian Embassy in the UK says Tehran’s envoy to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) passed away in London.

Mandana Mansourian died at a hospital following a long period of battling an illness, said the Embassy.

Mansourian had represented Iran at the UK-based organization for seven years and during her successful term, she served as the deputy of the technical committee of IMO for two years.

The Embassy offered condolences to her family and colleagues.
