Iran’s Defense Ministry says one person has been killed in an accident at the Parchin military site, east of the capital, Tehran.
In a statement issued on Thursday, it said the incident happened at one of the research units affiliated with the ministry at the Parchin site, leaving an engineer dead and another person wounded.
The statement identified the victim as Ehsan Qadbeigi, without providing detail about the nature of the accident.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident, the statement added.
