Iran’s sprint athlete Maryam Tousi has gained a silver medal in the women’s 200m at the 2024 Athletics South Africa (ASA) Grand Prix.
Tousi passed the line with a time of 23.40 seconds, after Britain’s Laviai Nielsen in 23.32. Shirley Nekhubui from South Africa grabbed the third spot.
The 35-year-old Iranian runner specializes in the 100 and 200 meters and is a two-time gold medalist in 400m Asian Championships.
