Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has congratulated Qatar on successfully holding the FIFA World Cup 2022 during a telephone conversation with the Qatari emir.
President Raisi also underlined the need for Tehran and Doha to expand their strategic relations and implement their bilateral agreements.
The president further pointed to the expansion of relations between Iran and Qatar in all spheres like political, economic, social and cultural areas.
He called for pursuing agreements signed by the two countries.
