Iranian president strongly condemns armed attack on Azeri Embassy in Tehran

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has strongly condemned Friday's armed attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran.

In his message, President Raisi described Azerbaijan as a brotherly neighbor.

The president further ordered a full investigation into the incident.

Raisi offered condolences to the family of the Azeri diplomat killed in the attack and also to the government and people of Azerbaijan.

He also wished swift recovery for those wounded.
