Iranian Interior Minister has said rescue workers are done searching for bodies of people killed in a building collapse in the southern city of Abadan.
Ahmad Vahidi expressed hope that the debris removal operation at the site of the Metropol Building will soon end.
So far, 37 bodies have been retrieved from the debris 12 days after the building tumbled down due to what’s been described as poor construction standards.
Vahidi visited the site of the collapsed building several days ago. He underlined that those responsible for the incident must be held accountable.
