Security forces have reportedly arrested an Iranian actor after a short video went viral showing him threatening police forces over enforcing Islamic Hijab.
Jam-e-Jam online news outlet reported that the security forces detained Mohamamd Sadeghi on Sunday morning in his house in eastern Tehran.
The report added that the 38-year-old actor tried to jump down the building where he lives after he learned that the police intended to arrest him but then a judicial official and firefighters at the scene talked him out of the decision.
Sadeghi was later taken into custody.
