Iranian actor Arash Mir-Ahmadi died on Tuesday at a hospital in Tehran at the age of 52 after losing a long battle with cancer.
He was under treatment and chemotherapy but slipped into a coma on Tuesday evening and passed away, according to his wife Marjan Safabakhsh.
Mir-Ahmadi, who was also a TV host of entertaining shows, was best remembered by the happy moments he created in his comedies.
He was a graduate of Performing Arts from the University of Tehran and was also a director and scriptwriter besides his main acting career.
