Iran Leader, Japanese PM Abe Meet in Tehran

Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe had a bilateral meeting on Thursday morning.

The meeting was held during Abe’s two-day visit to Tehran, which is the first of its kind since the 1979 Revolution of Iran.

The Japanese prime minister is visiting Tehran amid heightening tensions between Iran and the US.
