Huge fire engulfs upper floors of luxurious mall in Tehran’s north

Firefighters are trying to contain a blaze that has engulfed the upper floors of a huge mall in Tehran's Shahrake Qods district.

Footage posted online showed thick smoke rising from the top of Lidoma Mall in northwest of the capital.

The cause of the fire is not known. Nine people have reportedly injured so far in the blaze.

A spokesman for the firefighting department in Tehran has described the fire as massive.
