Iran’s leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has given pardons and commutations to 3,388 convicts on the occasion of the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory.
The convicts were sentenced to prison by public, revolutionary and military courts. Earlier, Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei presented the list of the convicts named for pardoning or commutation for the leader’s approval.
Ayatollah Khamenei agrees with many pardons and commutations for prisoners on various occasions throughout the year.
