The 38th edition of the Fajr Music Festival, Iran’s most significant music event, has opened in the capital, Tehran, as well as 16 other provinces.
In Tehran, some 90 performances will be held at seven halls, according to the organizers.
Music bands from Portugal, Russia, Hungary, India, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Armenia and Serbia plan to perform at the event.
The Fajr Music Festival is part of the annual celebrations marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
