Iranian Artworks to Be Displayed in Christie’s Auction in Dubai

Christieʼs 250th anniversary celebrations continue this season in Dubai with sales of Modern and Contemporary Art (18 October).

The 21st edition of Christie’s Auction is going to be held on Tuesday, October 18, in Hotel Emirate Towers in Dubai.

In this edition, 113 works by Iranian, Turk, and Arab artists will be put on display.

Standouts of the Modern and Contemporary Art sale include Iranian masterpieces from the Saqqakhaneh period, a key moment that shaped the future of Iranian modern and contemporary art.

These are some of the works by Iranian artists which are going to be sold this year:

 

Fatemeh Askarieh
