The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed on Friday that the nuclear installations in Isfahan were not damaged following explosions in the central Iranian city earlier in the day.

Locals and eye witnesses have reported that the Iranian cities of Tabriz and Isfahan are ‘completely calm’ after several explosions were heard earlier on Friday.

The Iranian foreign minister says, the inaction by the UN Security Council to condemn Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in the Syrian capital, prompted the Islamic Republic to launch retaliatory attack against Israel.

A senior commander with Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in charge of the country’s nuclear security said on Thursday that the threats by the Israeli regime increase the likelihood for Iran to review its nuclear doctrine. 

President Ebrahim Raisi said  that Iran displayed its military capabilities in a recent operation against the Israeli regime.

The deputy head of Iran’s Association of Truckers Trade Unions says Afghanistan has limited the traffic of the Iranian trucks by bullying and imposing very strict rules for the movement of Iranian trucks in the country.

Pakistan has stressed it is within its rights to import natural gas from Iran despite the US objections to fresh attempts by Islamabad to revive a 2009 gas supply agreement with Tehran.

Iran has renewed a contract with Iraq to export gas to its western neighbor for five more years.
