A Look at Iranian Newspaper Front Pages on May 26

IFP has taken a look at the front pages of Iranian newspapers on Saturday, May 26, and picked headlines from 20 of them. IFP has simply translated the headlines and does not vouch for their accuracy.

Almost all papers today covered the recent meeting of the JCPOA Joint Commission in Vienna without the US in attendance. Iran’s seven-day ultimatum to Europe and the EU’s continued support for the JCPOA were among the top stories today.

US President Donald Trump’s move to cancel a meeting with North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un also received great coverage as it was made after Pyongyang’s voluntary destruction of one of its nuclear sites.
