Top Commander Lauds Iranian Missiles’ ‘Exceptional’ Target Accuracy

Iran’s top military official says few countries worldwide possess the technology of developing long-range missiles with a target accuracy of less than 10 metres, adding at present, Iran is capable of producing and using such armaments.

The chief of staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Baqeri, says that currently, Iran possesses the technology of building missiles with a target accuracy of less than 10 metres, adding there are few countries in the world which has the technology.

According to a Farsi report by Tasnim, speaking on the sidelines of his visit to an Iranian military and defence exhibition, Baqeri added all the weaponry put on display in the exposition have been produced employing indigenous technology.

He stressed that the world is required to realise that all of Iran’s post-war young generations, involved in the field science, hold the belief that they can help their country achieve self-sufficiency in all fields.

“Other problems of the country seems minor in the light of such great achievements.”
